Lexington is a City, like many others in this wonderful Country of ours, where religion is taken very seriously by many families. Not only are Churches important as a means of expressing one's faith but also as a significant part of a family's social life. The ones that I observe seem to be well attended by their members.
Having lived in Lexington for many years, I have always been impressed with the large number of churches to be found in our City. Driving downtown on Tates Creek Road, for example, beautiful Churches can be seen on both sides of the street. Man of War Boulevard has many also and some very historic ones can be found in the center city area.
