Keeneland
Keeneland is a beautiful racing facility not far from Lexington near the Bluegrass Airport. A day at Keeneland provides a lovely, exciting experience even if you are not a horse racing enthusiast.
Kentucky Horse Park
No visit to the Lexington area would be complete without a tour of the Horse Park. Horses are special to us here and we return to visit time and again.
The Kentucky Rockies
Less than an hour's drive from Lexington, Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge are exciting areas and well worth the trip. Take a picnic and make it a day in the great outdoors.
Lexington Legends
If you enjoy baseball, there is nothing quite like a game in this minor league stadium, a cross between baseball and the county fair.
Shaker Village
One of the more interesting historical and cultural groups, this Shaker community is still active located not far from Lexington. At one point, many years ago, the Shaker's had villages in a number of places around the United States but this is one of the few remaining.
A visit to Shaker Village is an interesting trip and a very good show. The Shaker's, of course, are probably best known for their very basic, utilitarian furniture.

Henry Clay was a formidable statesman and one of Kentucky's finest. His home and gardens are worth a visit on a pretty day.
